Amber Heard is suiting up.

In the upcoming Justice League film, Heard plays Mera, the Queen of Atlantis and wife of Jason Momoa's Aquaman. The first footage from the upcoming film was debuted at Comic-Con 2016, where the trailer showed Ben Affleck's Batman confronting Aquaman and The Flash (Ezra Miller). It also showed Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, but Heard didn't make it into the short featurette.

Now fans can see what Heard will look like, not only in concept art, which was also released, but also in the first official photo of her in an elaborate costume featuring green scales and a large headpiece, courtesy of IGN. Additionally, Heard's Mera will play a larger role in the forthcoming standalone Aquaman film, set to release in 2018.

Justice League will also feature Henry Cavill as Superman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Zack Snyder, who helmed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, is set to direct this new installment.

In the clip released over the summer, Affleck's Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, talks about building an "alliance" of "warriors" with "special abilities" to fight against an "enemy" coming from far away. Wayne also is shown talking to Diana Prince/Wonder Woman and getting into a physical confrontation with Aquaman.

"I hear you can talk to fish," Affleck says.

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17, 2017. Are you excited? Sound off in the comments.
