If you imagined John Legend to be one of those fathers who gushes about his kids and sings them to sleep and gets all adorable while talking about them, then you're right on the money.

The singer stopped by Radio Disney to chat about his upcoming new single, "Love Me Now," and E! News has a sneak peek at his interview with the station, where Chrissy Teigen's hubby discusses his new life as a father, and the abundance of love that's now entered his life after daughter Luna's arrival.

"The sound is pretty similar to my older stuff. It's still very soulful, a lot of great musicians on the album, and I sing a lot about love still," Legend explains when asked how parenthood has shifted his style in music. "But obviously, I have a new love in my life in addition to my wife, of course we have a little baby girl Luna. So I sing a little bit about her too."

And along with singing about his little lady, Legend also sings to her (which we've gotten glimpses of, thanks to social media).

"I sing and dance to her all the time…she calms down when I sing to her and dance with her," he says, but admits that he doesn't exactly revert to traditional lullabies when it comes to serenading his baby girl.

"I just make up songs all the time. Whatever I'm trying to get her to do at that time, I make up a little ditty. They all sound like bad commercial jingles. I sang one to her about her stinky poopies…Somebody's got a stinky booty!"

LOL! While his latest single isn't the stinky booty melody (which is a total bummer, but maybe one day?), Legend says "Love Me Now" is about "loving the people you love, living live to the fullest, loving for today and not knowing what tomorrow brings, but really just making the most of every moment with the people you love."

Legend's full interview with airs Oct. 11 on Radio Disney and the Radio Disney app.
