What could make your Wednesday any better than a much-needed High School Musical reunion?

The Wildcat boys came together again for one epic reunion last night when Zac Efron and Lucas Grabeel went to support fellow co-star Corbin Bleu's broadway show Holiday Inn Musical.

Efron shared a black and white image of the famous trio, writing, "@mrgrabeel and I saw @corbinbleu DANCE on AIR ala Fred Astaire last night. He tapped "Firecracker" and lit the stage on [fire emoji] with his moves! Check out #HolidayInnMusical #amazingshow #theboysareback."

Grabeel posted another photo of the boys and told fans, "Just a couple of wildcats on a #Broadway stage. @corbinbleu killed it last night in #HollidayInnMusical! @ZacEfron So much love for these guys."

So does this at least partly make up for Efron missing the big Wildcat get together?

The hunky Hollywood star was noticeably absent from an HSM reunion that occurred at the top of the year. Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Grabeel, Bleu, and Monique Coleman reunited in a Los Angeles high school gym to celebrate the Disney Channel movie's 10-year anniversary, but Efron wasn't able to make it.

He did, however, pay tribute to his High School Musical days by posting a precious throwback gem, and captioned the flashback Friday photo from 2008, "So grateful I came across this picture... with the o.g. crew during one of the most cherished times of my life. #fbf"

Disney

In March, Disney announced fans would be returning to East High for High School Musical 4, where we'd meet new Wildcats and also get to know their rivals, the West High Knights.

"High School Musical is part of Disney Channel's DNA," Disney Channel President Gary Marsh said. "It embodies all that we stand for. As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we're excited to announce 'the start of something new' as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth installment of the 'High School Musical' franchise."

Now, we can only hope that some of the alums decide to make an appearance, too!
