Justin Theroux may have been on the jet-lagged side when he arrived in New York last week, but he perked up nicely when it came time to discuss his latest film.

And while we really can't wait to see The Girl on the Train, in which Theroux plays the happily moved-on ex-husband of Emily Blunt's self-destructive and possibly delusional girl on said train, we enjoyed getting a few personal questions in too.

So E! News' Marc Malkin fired 'em off as quickly as possible during the E!Q in 42—and sure enough, the actor shared the sweetest detail about how he and wife Jennifer Aniston deal with being apart when one or both are on the road for work.

Meanwhile, Theroux also revealed that he'd "love" to work with his Wanderlust co-star (and wife of a year) again, that he may have been one of the few people on the planet (aside from John Krasinski) who knew that Blunt was four months pregnant when they started filming TGOTT and that the movie—which is jam-packed with skewed perceptions, jealousy and suspicious behavior—did not turn him into a paranoid husband in real life.

"There's definitely no saints in this film, some less saintly than others," Theroux acknowledged the film's twisted story line, based on the best-seller by Paula Hawkins. "But it is a fiction. It's a mountain of several very horrible events coming together."

"I don't know my wife's passcodes," he added, before deadpanning, "I think I should learn them."

The Girl on the Train is in theaters Friday, Oct. 7.
