Good news, Worsties!
Looks like You're the Worst will live at least long enough for us to find out what kind of horrifying parent Lindsay is going to be, and we could not be more excited about it.
FX announced today that it has renewed the beloved comedy for a fourth season, meaning we don't have to say goodbye to Jimmy, Gretchen, Edgar, or Lindsay anytime soon.
"Expertly written, brilliantly acted, You're the Worst continues to be hilarious and excellent," said FX Co-President Eric Schrier. "We're excited to get [creator] Stephen [Falk] and his team working on next season and thank everyone at You're the Worst for their outstanding work and the opportunity to keep producing great TV together."
The comedy stars Chris Geere, Aya Cash, Kether Donohue, and Desmin Borges. Orange is the New Black's Samira Wiley has also been guest-starring this season as Gretchen's therapist.
So far, the gang has spent season three dealing with pregnancy, PTSD, depression, therapy, and the death of a parent. But it's hilarious, we promise, so if you're still not yet watching, this renewal news should give you yet another reason to start.
