Candace Swanepoel is officially trading her angel wings for baby bottles!
The Victoria's Secret model has given birth to a baby boy named Anacã, which is a Brazilian word for a specific type of bird, with fiancé Hermann Nicoli, E! News confirms. This is the couple's first child together.
Photographer and friend Jerome Duran took to Instagram to share a gorgeous photo of Swanepoel's bare and pregnant body and to congratulate the new mom with the caption, "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAMA Congratulations!! @angelcandices @hermannicoli Welcome Anacã!!! Already sooo much LOVE for you and the new family!"
Back in March, E! News exclusively learned about Candice's pregnancy, which as a source revealed to us, came as welcome news for the longtime lovebirds. "They are very happy," a source shared at the time, with a separate insider adding, "She's so excited."
Just two months later, the 27-year-old South African stunner revealed she was expecting a son, exposing her growing baby bump in an artistic, nude photo on Instagram. "My Not so little boy," Candace captioned the gorgeous moment.
Throughout her pregnancy, Swanepoel granted fans with an intimate glimpse into life as a mama-to-be, sharing a series of modelesque photos where she's posing with her spotlight-stealing bump. During the final countdown to welcoming her little guy, Swanepoel also hosted an adorable safari-themed baby shower.
And now that she's officially on parenting duties, Candice can rest easy knowing she'll be able to lean on her closest confidant and fellow new mama, Behati Prinsloo.
"Candice and Behati are best friends and they are not far apart from each other in pregnancy due dates," a source told us. "They both have been experiencing the first stages of being pregnant together and are happy to have each other who understand. They can't wait to be mommies!"
Prinsloo welcomed her first kid, a daughter named Dusty Rose, with Adam Levine in late September. We can only imagine all the play dates to come!
