Drake started from the bottom—now, he's in his own short film.
The rapper debuted the latest component of his fourth studio album, Views, a highly anticipated 23-minute-film called Please Forgive Me. Inspired by the album, the visual features a bloodied Drake, Fanny Neguesha, Soni Chidiebere, Kyla Reid and Popcaan as they are engulfed in a gritty world filled with sex, guns and money. According to Billboard, the project was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa in just one July week.
While little can be seen in Apple Music's swift teaser, the Apple Music exclusive video was scored by Noah 40 Shebib and directed by Anthony Mandler, a renowned music video director with prominent ties to Drake's leading lady, Rihanna.
