Drake started from the bottom—now, he's in his own short film.

The rapper debuted the latest component of his fourth studio album, Views, a highly anticipated 23-minute-film called Please Forgive Me. Inspired by the album, the visual features a bloodied Drake, Fanny Neguesha, Soni Chidiebere, Kyla Reid and Popcaan as they are engulfed in a gritty world filled with sex, guns and money. According to Billboardthe project was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa in just one July week.

While little can be seen in Apple Music's swift teaser, the Apple Music exclusive video was scored by Noah 40 Shebib and directed by Anthony Mandler, a renowned music video director with prominent ties to Drake's leading lady, Rihanna

Mandler previously spearheaded many of the songstress' most famous music videos, including the ones for her early hits like "Unfaithful" and "Don't Stop the Music" up to her most recent chart toppers, including "Diamonds."

He has also directed the brand's most recent commercials, among them Taylor Swift's treadmill tumble and DJ Khaled and Naomi Campbell's romantic drive. In addition to Drake and RiRi, Mandler's resumé also features the likes of Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" and Beyoncé's "Irreplaceable" among many others.

The video is available to stream solely on Apple Music, where Drake's latest album has become the first to reach over one billion streams—or as Drake called it, "B's."
