Will Smith is feeling the love this birthday weekend.

As the beloved actor celebrates turning 48 Sunday, his wife Jada Pinkett Smith headed to Facebook where she shared a special message in honor of her leading man.

"I saw this video yesterday and it reminded me of all the wonderful ways you and I have made a difference together on this planet. We do so much good in this world together, Will and there is so much more to come," she wrote on social media. "You have been the greatest gift to me in that way, by being a fire of inspiration in my heart."

She added, "I love you always. To the king of kings...Happy Birthday!!!! Jada."

In the video, fans are able to relive part of Will's journey to an underdeveloped country where he had some good news to share. A contest brought on by both Will and Jada helped raise $789,000 for water project costs.

As the couple approaches their 19th wedding anniversary, some fans may be wondering what is the secret to their happiness. Perhaps the simple answer is that it takes a lot of dedication and hard work.

"Really, at the end of the day it's just not quitting," Will told Entertainment Tonight. "You can't expect it to be easy, it's like our marriage was the most difficult, grueling, excruciating thing that we have ever taken on in our lives. And you know were just not quitters."

"If there is a secret I would say is that we never went into working in our relationship," he continued. "We only ever worked on ourselves individually, and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously."

The year ahead is already looking mighty fine for Will. In addition to a happy family, the actor is expected to star alongside Keira Knightley and Helen Mirren in Collateral Beauty this December.

And yes, Bad Boys 3 and 4 are still on the books. Happy Birthday Will!
