The pop wild child joined headliner Billy Idol onstage Friday evening for an epic collaboration of the rock star's 1983 hit, "Rebel Yell." Attendees were taken by complete surprise when Cyrus stepped out ready to rock Sin City's socks off, telling the crowd, "I'm singing with Billy f--king Idol, let's do it!"
Miley certainly dressed for the occasion, paying tribute to the music legend by sporting a pair of sunglasses with his name emblazoned across it, a leather jacket with an image of Idol's face on the back and leather pants that had "I [love] Billy Idol" written down both legs. Suffice to say she's a big fan.
Fiancé Liam Hemsworth was in the audience supporting his leading lady, and the lovebirds kept the party going with a post-performance stop by Las Vegas' Omnia nightclub.
Joined by some of their close friends, an eyewitness told E! News, "The entire group seemed to be in good spirits."
With such a strong start to the two-day fest, music fans are surely expecting even more surprises from tonight's lineup. Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, Usher and Pitbull will all perform live from the T-Mobile Arena in just a few short hours. For those unable to make the trek to Vegas, the festival will be broadcast live via iHeartMedia radio stations and streamed on CWTV.com and The CW app.
