InstagramChristina Aguilera has returned to her most signature self.
The bombshell songstress recently unveiled her newly dyed locks, a platinum blond 'do that's giving us major Marilyn Monroe vibes. Aguilera, 35, took to Instagram for the sultry reveal, which she captioned, "Blondes really do have more fun."
Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton is responsible for the hair transformation, while makeup artist to the stars Etienne Ortega provided the finishing touches with bold red lipstick and thick lashes.
"We decided to take Christina back to blonde as it was time for a change. Christina wore the red hair and loved it, but it was time to go back to her roots. she's a true blonde at heart," Chris explained to E! News. "We wanted to create the iconic platinum look so we kept it really nice and bright with a cool tone for a modern finish."
He added, "We styled it in a Rita Haworth style wave to give it that real Hollywood finish."
From jet black to hot pink, the former Voice coach has dipped her tresses in nearly every color over the years. True to her roots though, we can't help but admit that Aguilera rocks the blond like no one else. Christina's latest makeover comes fresh off her relatively short-lived time as a redhead.
Christina debuted her formerly auburn hue back in June at a Hillary Clinton fundraiser, where she performed hits like "Fighter" and "Ain't No Other Man."
Since then, Aguilera released a new single, "Change," benefiting those affected by the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. She's also executive producing Tracks, a musical game show on Spike. The mother of two was on hand for the program's September premiere, where she rocked the stage with an epic cover of Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk."
