It takes serious skill to wear that many sequins...without looking tacky.

Gigi Hadid caught our attention (and everyone else's) when she stepped out in Milan yesterday wearing this amazing Max Mara coat—mainly because she was quite literally glowing. When that much sparkle is involved, more often then not the garment can feel and look a little, well, tacky, but thanks to the model's neutral pairings she turned up the glamour without turning down the quality of the outerwear.

If you're at all interested in pulling off a similar look (long-sleeved cashmere bodysuit underneath optional), keep reading.

Bella Hadid's Hooded Dress Is All the Swag Your Closet Needs

If you're wanting to make a bronzed statement like Gigi, stick to the range of solid, nude colors she did for everything else. Monochrome dressing is a very model-off-duty-esque thing to do. Or if you're looking for more of an everyday look, a pair of baggy light-washed jeans, your ankle strap heels and a crisp white tee will also do the trick.

And although Hadid did go extra bold in the accessories department (opting for a pair of furry ankle strap heels and a rust orange oversized leather bag that she carried as a clutch), she pulled back with her beauty when she threw her long locks back into a messy low bun and added a mauve pink hue to her lips. It's all about balance.
