Following a contentious back-and-forth between Kid Cudi and the "Ultralight Beam" rapper over accusations that West and Drake use ghost writers for their rhymes, any bad blood between the two was put to rest during West's Houston tour stop on Tuesday evening. While onstage, the 39-year-old father of two paused to give the "Pursuit of Happiness" performer a special shout out.
West declared Cudi, "the most influential artist of the past 10 years," later adding, "I just wanted to take this time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother and I hope he's doing well."
The rappers have both featured each other on their past hit tracks, including "Erase Me," "All of the Lights," and most recently on The Life of Pablo's "Father Stretch My Hands." West signed Cudi to his GOOD Music label in 2008.

Kanye and the 32-year-old's short-lived feud sparked last week when Cudi slammed West and Drake on Twitter: "My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever," Cudi called out. "These n---as dont give a f--k about me. And they aint f--kin with me," he added. "Ive been loyal to those who haven't been to me and that ends now. Now im your threat."
West clapped back during his concert that night, telling audiences, "Do you know how many people wish they could be signed to GOOD Music, get their life changed, have an opportunity? Never forget that! I am so hurt. I feel so disrespected. Kid Cudi, we are two black men in a racist world."
"I got called names before you, bruh. Why y'all gotta be coming at me? This ain't the end of the Malcolm X movie. I'm out here fighting for y'all creators, artists, independent thinkers. Don't never mention my name in a bad manner, none of y'all," he continued.
The "One Dance" rapper also aired his grievances onstage, speaking into the mic during his own concert with a few choice words. "I heard boys were talking down today," Drake reportedly said. "Shout out to my brother Kanye West. We both got sold-out shows."
As of this time, Cudi has not responded publicly to West's praises and his original tweets have not been deleted.
