Kevin Hart, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Jumanji

"You think that mosquitos, monkeys, and lions are bad? That is just the beginning."

Not too long ago Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared concept art of his Jumanji character in costume, giving fans a tease of what's to come from the forthcoming movie. But now Kevin Hart is giving viewers the first photo of the cast in character. Filming kicked off Monday in Hawaii, and by the looks of it Johnson, Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan already seem to be encountering some suspicious creatures, at least based on the faces they're making.

"Day 1 of shooting Jumanji is officially in the can. We had a amazing first day. The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond amazing!!!! This movie is going to be dope as hell....Can't wait to get back to work tomorrow @therock @karengillanofficial & jack black!!! #Jumanji," he captioned the picture on Instagram.

As expected from the concept art, The Rock looks ready to take on the jungle in his cargo pants and button down, while Hart looks like he over packed for their trip LOL. Gillan looks fierce in her red top and shorts and tall leather boots, ready to wield any weapon necessary to protect her friends.

Hart looks like he over packed for the occasion, while Black looks ready to work with his glasses and bowtie.

Solely based on appearances, we can only imagine how differently each character is going to face whatever comes their way. Also joining the cast, though not pictured, is Nick Jonas.

As The Rock has made clear before, this movie will not be a remake of Robin Williams' classic. Instead, it will be a continuation of his work. "As a producer on this movie and someone who loves the original, you have my word we'll honor the legend of' 'Alan Parrish' and properly introduce a whole new generation to the fun and crazy Jumanji universe that so many of us loved and grew up on," he said.
