When it comes to the red carpet, you'd be surprised at what you might learn about Hollywood's biggest stars if you just ask.

Take the 2016 Emmy Awards, for example, where E! caught up with two of television's most acclaimed judges, Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi and supermodel-turned-America's Got Talent judge Heidi Klum.

The former revealed to E!'s Jason Kennedy that her date for the evening was hiding a serious snack stash in his suit to cope with the show's lack of food.

"If you kind of frisk my date, which I don't suggest, he has all these snacks strategically placed," she revealed on camera.

So, in addition to Jimmy Kimmel's surprise PB&J sandwiches, what did the television foodie nibble on inside the Microsoft Theater?

Energy bars, almonds and cashews. As Kennedy quipped, "The essentials!"

As for Klum, America has come to know the multi hyphenate star for a handful of roles and projects, but when it comes to filling out those cumbersome questionnaires at a doctor's office, what exactly does she list as her occupation?

"I write model," she told E!'s Giuliana Rancic. "If I explain all the different things that I do, it's too difficult."

It seems even more difficult to actually do everything the German beauty does daily. However, much like every person with multiple roles, Klum sometimes drops the ball.

"It's very hard to balance. I kind of feel like I'm like a juggler and a lot of times, I drop a ball," she admitted. "I try to not drop them all at the same time, but it's impossible. You can't be good at everything all the time, so you just have to do you best and not beat yourself up when sometimes things don't work the way you wanted them to work."

Still, the 43-year-old had a tip to share with everyone watching.

"I definitely go to bed early [and] get up early, so I get stuff done before I wake up my family," she explained. "It's long hours half of the time. It's tricky, but I love it all…I don't know it any other way. I'm always a little busy. It's good."
