Why are we not surprised that Jimmy Kimmel knows how to throw a good party?
The host of the 2016 Emmys had an intimate, private after-party Sunday night, a source tells E! News. The star-studded celebration was frequented by friends of Jimmy's, award winners and nominees alike, including Tom Hiddleston, Amy Schumer, Sarah Hyland, Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Rami Malek, John Mayer, David Foster, Tracee Ellis Ross, Aziz Ansari, Andy Samberg, Christian Slater, Kit Harrington and Padma Lakshmi, just to name a few.
Jimmy's pal Matt Damon was there with wife Luciana Barroso. At one point, the late-night host and his Oscar-winning pal were chatting it up and singing along with some rock music at the bash, a source tells E! News. The party vibe was very laid-back, with celeb guests happily swapping out their stilettos for flip-flops so they could do it up right on the dance floor! Guests also dined on some of Jimmy's favorite snacks and World Class cocktails at the star-studded affair.
Another fun moment from the night happened when Transparent co-stars Gaby Hoffman and Jay Duplass created a dance circle and broke out some freak dancing moves!
A source told E! News the party kicked off around 10 p.m. and went on until after 3 a.m.
That's a late night, but clearly Jimmy and co. had a lot to celebrate!
