The former Bachelor contestant welcomed a baby girl, named Holland Rose Madeleine Gentry, earlier today, E! News can exclusively confirm. The newborn weighed 6 lbs., 13 oz., and was named in memory of Erica's late aunt, Holly, who passed away of Stage 4 cancer following a courageous 15-year battle. Because her baby was breech, Erica had a C-section. The new mom is feeling good and still recovering, she tells E! News.
Holland's arrival marks the reality star's first child with fiancé Galen Gentry.
Just last month, Erica enjoyed a "Tickled Pink" baby shower at Books & Cookies in Santa Monica, Calif., with family, friends and members of Bachelor Nation.
Sarah Herron and Samantha Levey attended the celebration planned by Bachelor alum Renee Simlak and Jennifer Beall Saxton of TheTotSquad.com. And while mingling with the mom-to-be, guests enjoyed treats from Sweet E!'s bake shop and gift bags from Belly Bandit and Babyganics.
"I had the best time celebrating baby Holland with my close friends and family, including Galen," Erica shared with E! News after the gathering. "It was really nice to introduce them to my new family and to feel loved and know that our baby will be loved by all of them too. Now we are just ready for her to make her debut!"
Erica rose to fame after competing for Prince Lorenzo Borghese's heart during The Bachelor's ninth season in 2006. She later appeared on two seasons of Bachelor Pad.
She would ultimately find her prince charming at work as Erica is the director of business development for Gentry Law Group, where Galen is an attorney.
"They fell in love at first sight! She was really ready to have a baby and they started trying," her rep previously told E! News. "Erica's family is super excited. When Erica's father heard the news, he said he wanted to throw a big Texas wedding! Though no plans are confirmed yet. They are really looking forward to the new addition to the family."
