Laney Boggs and Zack Siler are back together at last.

If it's really been too long, allow us to jog your memory—'90s king and queen Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook were the faces behind the high school jock and unpopular girl who...dun...dun...dun...fall in love.

As a twist on the age-old trope, Freddie's character took a bet that he could turn Rachael's character into the school's prom queen. However, in the process, he actually falls for the girl and they sail into graduation together.

It's been nearly two decades since audiences watched Zack Siler accept his diploma in his birthday suit (per the guidelines of their wager) and, while popular music, fashion and movies have all seen some changes since "Kiss Me" rang out during Lanie's post-makeover staircase debut, the stars of the popular film appear to have frozen in time.

Freddie, 40, and Rachael, 36, reunited for a casual coffee chat on Thursday and thanks to social media, fans came along for the visit.

"When the homie @RachaelLCook wants to have coffee, you get some damn coffee! #OldFriendsNewFriends," the actor tweeted with a selfie of the two together. Aside from Prinze Jr.'s salt-and-pepper beard, the on-screen couple look like they could fit right back in on the quad.

Still, some things are best kept between them. In what seemed like an inside joke, Cook chimed in with a social media response.

"You left me with the brownie we r not friends anymore!! xoxo," she tweeted back.

"You took the brownie?!?! I thought I had it!!!" he quipped in return.

Just like that, the banter is back on.
