Nearly a week after the rapper took the world by storm with his public declaration of love for the pop star on the MTV VMA stage, Rihanna took to social media to express her gratitude to all of the people who shaped her unforgettable night—including her dapper man.
"I have the most incredible people in my life! My family, friends, loved ones, my fans, my team!!! All gifted beautiful spirits! And I'm so grateful that God has precisely and flawlessly arranged our paths to meet at each other!" she began in a lengthy message on Instagram.
Included in that group of "beautiful spirits" were her presenters for the evening, Naomi Campbell, Mary J. Blige, Tracee Ellis Ross and—of course—Drizzy.
"Thank you to the beautiful @iamnaomicampbell @therealmaryjblige @traceeellisross for your kind words!" she continued. "@champagnepapi your speech was so touching and I love you for that!" There's that L-word again!

Since Sunday night, the pair appears to have kicked their typically private relationship into high gear. After a sushi date at Nobu in New York City Monday night, the couple jetted off to Miami, where they were spotted Tuesday at E11even nightclub. Judging by the look of E!'s exclusive photos, there was definitely some love in the air.
Eyewitnesses tell E! News that Drake and Rihanna spent the night "kissing, hugging and dancing close to one another" at their VIP table.
"Rihanna and Drake were happy, not hiding and totally affectionate in front of everyone. At one point they were kissing and holding each other," another source told E! News. "They seemed very comfortable with each other. Besides for when he was performing, they didn't leave each other's side."
The following night, Drake got the songstress on stage during his concert and managed to plant a kiss on his leading lady, igniting a frenzy in the observant crowd.
If all of the public displays of affection weren't enough for everyone tuned into this celebrity love story, Rihanna recently got inked—and her new body art is—you guessed it—a tribute to her beau.
The Grammy winner opted for a camouflage shark on her ankle, which E! News has confirmed has "special significance" for the pair. The fish is supposed to be a reference to one of Rihanna's dates with the Canadian native, who took her to an aquarium in Toronto and bought her a stuffed animal of a shark.
Now this is a love affair fans can really sink their teeth into.
