Unlike other actresses who wear full faces of HD makeup for on-camera close-ups, it's a different story for Camilla Ludington.

The woman plays an over-worked doctor on the hit TV show Grey's Anatomy, so it makes sense that her character doesn't consider perfectly painted makeup to be a first priority.

Witht that being the case, it isn't the least bit surprising that in her real life she's actually pretty excited about beauty products. For details on her go-to routine, what she cut out of her diet to rid her complexion of acne and what scent she's been wearing for a decade, keep scrolling.

What is your everyday makeup look?
On Grey's Anatomy our makeup is super (emphasis on super) natural, so I actually like to play it up more in my everyday life. My go-to is a bronzed lid with a cat-eye liner and a nude lip.

What is your signature lip color?
I actually mix two colors. I use Laura Mercier Lipstick in Peche (which gives it the nude color) as a base and top it with Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Soft Coral when I want a little more color.

Bronzer or blush?
Both! I take Benefit's Hoola Matte Bronzer and I use it for a subtle contour. I sweep it down my temples, under my cheekbones and then under my jaw to make a 3-shape on my face. Then I take my Benefit Coralista Blush and I add it for a pop of color just on my cheeks.

What are your go-to hair products?
This summer I bleached my hair out and in the span of seven weeks, went back to brunette. As a result it's fried. The only shampoo-conditioner combo that's made it feel more silky is Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. For good, messy texture after styling I swear by R+Co's Death Valley Dry Shampoo.

What is your best non-product related beauty tip?
Cut out dairy. It's so hard because I love cheese but I saw a significant difference in my breakouts when I eliminated it. The better I am at cutting it out, the clearer my skin looks.

Any current product obsessions?
In addition to cutting out dairy I had stubborn deep breakouts on my chin earlier this year. After doing a ton of research I found Renee Rouleau's Anti-Cyst Treatment and I now use it daily. It did miraculous things to my skin-I've gifted it to girlfriends who have struggled with breakouts, too.

What is your signature scent?
I've been wearing Princess by Vera Wang for over a decade. It's feminine without having an overpowering floral smell like some perfumes. It always reminds me summer nights for some reason.
