After six years of marriage, Huma Abedin has decided to split from Anthony Weiner.

The vice chairwoman of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign released the following statement to E! News: "After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband.  Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy."

The news comes just a day after a report broke that Weiner had been sexting another woman for more than a year.

The New York Post reported that the former member of the House of Representatives has been caught in yet another sexting scandal.

Just a few months after releasing a tell-all about the sexual photos and text messages that ruined his campaign for the mayor of NYC, Weiner is at the forefront of even more photos and sexts after a new woman came forward and released them to The Post over the weekend.

But, even more concerning is the fact that one of the sexual photos includes his young son in bed with him.

According to the report, Weiner messaged the woman, "Someone just climbed into bed with me," and subsequently snapped a photo of his bulge in a pair of white jockey underwear as his 4-year-old son slept beside him.

Screenshots from their conversations date back to January 2015 and continue all the way through the beginning of this month. Many of the messages Weiner sent were sexually charged, including several shirtless pics and snaps of his bulge in his underwear (similar to the one that got him in trouble several years ago). The woman also returned the favor, sending several pictures of her bust in low-cut tops as well as in her bra and underwear.

Weiner does not deny their conversations, but told The Post the two "have been friends for some time."

He told the publication, "She has asked me not to comment except to say that our conversations were private, often included pictures of her nieces and nephews and my son and were always appropriate."

Still, Weiner deleted his Twitter account by Monday morning, and shortly thereafter, his wife announced their separation.
