Ladies and gentlemen, meet your newest Disney villain offspring: Harry, the son of Peter Pan's Captain Hook, is joining the cast of Descendants 2 and E! News has learned who will play the new character.

Thomas Doherty has joined Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson and fellow new addition China Anne McClain in the Disney Channel Original Movie sequel.

The first movie featured the children of some of Disney's most iconic villains: Mal (Cameron), the daughter of Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent; Carlos (Boyce), the son of 101 Dalmatians' Cruella De Vil; Jay (Stewart), the son of Aladdin's Jafar; and Evie (Carson), the daughter of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves' Evil Queen. McClain is playing Uma, daughter of The Little Mermaid's Ursula, and the movie will also introduce the kid of Beauty and the Beast's Gaston.

Doherty, who hails from London, is making his onscreen debut in the upcoming Disney Channel musical drama series The Lodge, which premieres in Europe this fall. If his photo doesn't make you swoon enough, you should know that he is also a trained dancer (hip hop, jazz and ballet) and plays guitar.

Kenny Ortega is returning as director, choreographer and executive producer, and original writers Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon are returning to pen the script and executive produce.

"Just when you thought 'Happily Ever After' had come to the land of Auradon, Descendants 2 turns the page to reveal a whole new level of mystery and surprise," Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer of Disney Channels Worldwide, said in a statement when the sequel was announced.

Descendants 2 starts production soon and will debut on the network in 2017.
