Getty ImagesKarlie Kloss is definitely a day-one member of Taylor Swift's squad, but sometimes it's best to stay out of drama, even when it involves one of your very best friends.
For that reason, the 24-year-old has stayed mum on Swift's feud with Kim Kardashian, which occurred after the reality star posted a video recording of the singer seemingly approving Kanye West's "Famous" lyrics. However, in an interview with the Sunday Times Style over the weekend, Kloss was asked her opinion on Kim and the model was a little caught off guard.
"I think she's been a lovely person to me in the past," Kloss said, stumbling a bit over her words. "Look, I really don't know her that well."
Of course, this almost broke the Internet as media outlets and fans began claiming Kloss (who shares a manager with Kanye, according to the Times) was taking sides in the situation—a "big deal" considering Swift is one of her very best friends.
However, the model quickly took to Twitter to shut down the rumors and remind people where her heart really stands.

"I will not allow the media to misconstrue my words," she wrote. "Taylor has always had my back and I will always have hers."
She later added, "And I will never be the girl that you can use to pit women against each other. That isn't me."
To be fair, Kloss has continued to gush about her BFF for years. In fact, she told the Times Swift and the rest of her close pals are more than just friends. "My closest friends, really, are my sisters," she said.
Earlier this month, Kloss thanked Swift for helping celebrate her 24th birthday from different countries, sharing a photo in which the singer is seen FaceTiming with the supermodel while a gorgeous vase of sunflowers are put on display next to the screen (we're guessing those were sent over by Swift).
"When you're halfway around the world & your best friend still finds a way to celebrate 24 with you @taylorswift13," Karlie shared on Twitter.
Swift also made sure to share a sweet note for her bestie. "I LOVE YOU KARLIE! You're such an exquisite person, always trying to make things better for others," she shared on Instagram with a throwback selfie. "Every day I'm inspired by how giving, loving, and thoughtful you are. Happy 24th Birthday!!!"
One thing's for sure: there's no bad blood between these two, and it doesn't look like there ever will be!
