The berry lip just got bolder.

You may not have watched Suicide Squad, but you've surely caught Margot Robbie during the film's press tour. The actress has been killing it on all fronts—from her fashion and hair choices to her dynamic makeup.

In fact, one look in particular truly inspired us—it wasn't just your typical, red-carpet, bold lip but a genius marriage of pinks, reds and purples blended together in a symphonic way.

To help us translate this red-carpet look for everyday wear, we asked makeup artist Julianne Kaye to share her interpretation of Margot's statement-making makeup.

Step 1: After moisturizing the face, start with Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15 to create a base.

Step 2: Set the foundation with Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Powder to get a dewy finish.

Step 3: Brush up the brows with Glossier Boy Brow, "so it's rough-looking or not well manicured," said the makeup maven.

Step 4: Apply pinkish-red shadow ("almost a blush color") to the eyes.

Pro Tip: "When you first apply the shadow, you might be like, ‘Oh my god—it's so pink,'" said Julianne.  "But once the lip goes on, you're going to notice the eyes will take a backseat."

Step 5: At the base of the lashes, use It Cosmetics Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara to just tightline. ("This is a great technique for people who have hooded eyes," said the pro.) Then apply L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Waterproof Mascara through the lashes.

Step 6: Using It Cosmetics You Sculpted contour kit, apply a brown hue to the bottom lash line to define the eyes.

Step 7: Use Stila Convertible Color in Petunia to warm up that dewy skin a bit.

Step 8: Finish off the look with the anchor—a nighttime-perfect gloss. Don't be afraid to mix purples and reds together to get a rich, deep shade.
