Selena Gomez made headlines on Sunday after calling out Justin Bieber on Instagram, and while many fans have supported her for it, she's actually going against her own advice she handed out just one month ago.

In case you missed it, the Biebs shared several photos with Sofia Richie over the weekend and received quite a bit of backlash about it. When he threatened to make his Instagram account private, Selena commented on the post and allegedly wrote, "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."

Fans then screengrabbed comments Justin posted in response to Selena. "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love," he reportedly wrote. "I'm not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers."

Selena responded once more, writing, "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times are pointing the finger at the ones who were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love."

And as if that wasn't already the cherry on top for the Internet, SelGo's comment resulted in Justin suggesting she cheated on him with Zayn Malik.

The whole mess could have likely been avoided if SelGo had followed her own advice she gave her fans and followers a month ago, asking celebs to steer clear of drama and use their voices for "more important" matters.

It all started when Kim Kardashian released a secret video recording of Kanye West talking to Taylor Swift about his "Famous" lyrics in July.

Selena couldn't help but stand up for her friend. "There are more important things to talk about," she tweeted. "Why can't people use their voice for something that f--king matters?"

She later wrote, "Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form," adding, "This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh."

Earlier this year she also talked about drama on social media, asking people to stop suggesting that her life revolves around her ex when they have no problems. "Everyone else creates drama," she wrote and threatened to delete her Instagram account.

Sounds familiar, right? Looks like SelGo forgot her to take her own advice this time around...
