Now this is how you celebrate tying the knot!
Pitch Perfect co-stars and husband and wife-to-be Anna Camp and Skylar Astin opted to forgo the bachelor-bachelorette party tradition of getting rowdy separately for a joint celebration in each other's arms. The longtime couple shared snapshots from Saturday night's festivities on Instagram, where they were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for a country-themed rendezvous.
Anna and Skylar kicked off their day in the company of close friends, as the ladies posed for selfies (we see you, Brittany Snow!) during Anna's bridal shower and the boys took a dip in the pool.
Later on, Camp and Astin came together for a fun-filled evening of country line dancing that surely provided lifetime-lasting memories for the entire wedding crew. The blond beauty sported her very own cowboy hat and veil paired with a flirty white dress while her leading man opted for a suave, navy blue jacket. Anna and Skylar danced the night away, stopping for a sweet photo opp of the two sharing a smooch, which the actor captioned, "Nailed it."
The darling duo's onscreen acapella teammate shared her own photo of Anna stealing the spotlight, writing, "obviously everyone has eyes for the cutest cowgirl. @therealannacamp Happy almost marriage my elf"
Anna and Skylar announced their engagement on Instagram after ringing in the New Year together. While specific proposal details remain top-secret, social media photos showed the couple was on vacation in Hawaii as they helped usher in 2016 and relationship status.
Before Pitch Perfect 2 was released last summer, E! News was able to catch up Camp who couldn't help but share how happy she was in the romance department.
"We're really best friends, so it's awesome," she told us. "He's definitely sweet like his character is."
"The funny thing is, is that we never ever have any scenes together," she recounted of their time on set. "So, yeah, it was great. We had a great time when we saw each other on set. It was awesome."
As to how this relationship blossomed into something more, it turns out timing really is everything.
"We were friends first and just hit it off. He's just so great, and he's a Libra too," she previously told Glamour magazine. "He was dating somebody, and I had been through [a divorce] and he was like, 'Do you want to go on a date?' I remember thinking, Well, he's younger than me. He's five years younger. He's 26, and I'm 31. But I was like, 'You know what? OK! Let's do it, let's see.'"
Well we've seen the proof and it's safe to say their life together is off to an incredible start!
