It's National Middle Child Day! Let's celebrate together by looking back on all of our favorite middle siblings in pop culture. Whether it's Stephanie Tanner, Cory Matthews or even Simon from Alvin and the Chipmunks, the life of the middle child can be rough. While they're often portrayed as forgotten or unloved, we noticed that the siblings on this list had some pretty great characteristics as well. Most of them are logical, intelligent, and often the leader of their family and friends. That being said, don't forget to call up the middle sibling in your life and tell them how much you appreciate them.

1. Stephanie Tanner. Remember when middle child Stephanie went to Mars, and nobody cared? How rude.

2. Jan Brady. The gold standard of middle siblings. Jan struggled to compete with older sister Marcia, and blessed pop culture with the ultimate middle child phrase, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!"

3. Carlton Banks. The conservative, cardigan wearing middle sibling on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Will was lucky to have this guy as a cousin. Look at those moves.

4. Malcolm. He was such a quintessential middle child; he got his own dang show. What's good, Malcolm in the Middle?

5. Dawn Wiener. No other character better portrays #middlechildproblems quite like Heather Matarazzo's in the '90s classic, Welcome to the Doll House. Sure she was awkward, but she had the best style out of all of her siblings.

6. Michael Bluth. Instead of being awkward, Michael is the glue that holds the Bluth family together. Despite being born in the middle, he's the true leader in Arrested Development.

7. Randy Taylor. The dreamiest middle sibling to make this list. At least, that's how we felt in middle school. Thank you, Home Improvement for blessing us with JTT.

8. Simon Seville. Alvin might have received all the attention, but it was Simon who was the logical, intelligent sibling of the three.

9. Cory Matthews. Logical and lovable, Cory was the sensible middle child that every parent dreams of having.

10. Lucy Camden. Aside from being the middle child, she was the literal '90s style icon of 7th Heaven. Bangs goals.
