Watch: LL Cool J Teases Upcoming Death on "NCIS: LA"

Is someone in the OSP biting the dust with NCIS: LA returns for season eight this fall?! That's what star LL Cool J has us thinking.

E! News caught up with the star at the CBS, CW, Showtime Summer TCA party on Wednesday night, where he dropped the not-so-subtle hint that it might be time to say goodbye to someone for good. "#Somebody's got to die," he offered up when asked about possible hashtags for the new season. "#Somebody's got to go, you know? #Changes. #You need to watch." Consider us intrigued, LL!

Could he possibly be referring to the mole within the OSP? According to the official logline for the season eight premiere, the team comes under investigation by the Under Secretary of the Navy once a mole is identified in their department. But who will it be? Start placing your bets now.

Now that star Daniela Ruah, who plays agent Kensi Boyle, has revealed she's officially on maternity leave, could Kensi be the mole? LL wasn't saying, but he did reveal that the pregnancy got the creative juices flowing in the writer's room. "We don't really write around them. We just accommodate them and sometimes you can use those positive life experiences as a way to build on," he revealed. "It gives the writers something to build on and it gives them, actually, inspiration to take the whole season to another level. So, I think it kind of works out for the best."

To hear more from LL, including a state of the union address on of his bromance with co-star Chris O'Donnell, be sure to check out the video above. And if you've got any theories on who's meeting their maker when the show returns, share them in the comments below!
