Lea Michele showed how painful keeping up with appearances can be when she recorded her appointment with a waxer on Snapchat. The Scream Queens star returned to her red-carpet ready look after shaping up her eyebrows and her upper lip!
"This is the real beauty, you guys. This is what happens when you're half Jewish, half Italian," she joked in her video.
Lea provided colorful commentary throughout her appointment, telling viewers that getting her thick eyebrows shaped was "going to hurt really bad" before the strip was inevitably ripped off her face. Eek! Whether Lea is cleaning up her body hair or eating clean, it appears the former Glee star is always taking care of herself.
"Right now, I feel physically in my best shape, and emotionally in my best place...I'm not perfect," she told Women's Health U.K. "I'm not trying to represent myself as being some perfect girl, but I love myself, flaws and all."
Regardless of her self-confidence, the Broadway star admitted she has her bad days, just like everybody else. "I have down days. I accept those days as much as the happy ones," but to get over those down days she, "[makes] some macaroni and cheese, call my mom, pour a glass of red wine and watch some reality television. There's nothing that can't fix."
When it comes to her personal life, Lea said she feels she can only be in a relationship when both people are serious about themselves and living a healthy lifestyle—mentally and physically. "I take care of myself, and I spend a lot of time and energy doing that, so I need someone else to look after themselves too," she said.
"It's only then that you can come together and be a really good team."
