Watch: Joanne Froggatt Up for a "Downton Abbey" Reunion?

It hasn't even been a year since Downton Abbey came to a close, but it seems the reunion rumors are getting stronger by the minute.

"There's real talk," Joanne Froggatt, who played Anna Bates on the hit British drama, told me at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's grants gala. "I don't think there's a script yet, but maybe I'm wrong. I haven't seen a script yet. But maybe there is one. I think it could happen. It could happen."

The series first aired in the U.K. on Sept. 26, 2010 following by its U.S. debut on Jan. 9, 2011. Downton ended after six seasons in December. During its run, Downton picked up a Golden Globe for best miniseries or television film and an Emmy for outstanding miniseries or movie.

"There's lots of talk," said Froggatt, who won a Golden Globe in 2014 for her work on the show. "It's just sort of getting everybody together at the same time."

Tom Cullen, who played Lady Mary's suitor Lord Gillinghan, told me shortly after the series ended that says he thought Downton movie was a big possibility.

"If they really want to do that, they should definitely do that," Cullen told me at SXSW in March. "I think people would be up for it, people would watch it," he said. "And I think it would be a very nice way to finish it off."
