InstagramDrew Barrymore is ready to get away this summer weekend.
The A-list actress decided to pack her bags and gather a few best friends together for a short getaway to Las Vegas.
"Is this bird going to Vegas? If so yay!!!" Drew wrote on Instagram while riding in a private plane. "#Vegasbaby #besties #lifelongers #oldschool."
Once arriving into town, Drew and her crew headed to Pole Position Raceway for some go-kart racing. They also enjoyed the magic of David Copperfield at the MGM Grand Resort & Casino, dinner at Lotus of Siam and Jennifer Lopez's concert at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
"#VegasBaby," Drew wrote on social media while documenting her trip. "Yes! #davidcoppperfield #thecrew."
The trip comes just days after Drew and her ex-husband Will Kopelman finalized their divorce. According to People, everything was complete on Wednesday or less than a month after papers were filed.
The quick turnaround could mean that the couple did not fight over assets or custody over their two young kids.
"Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," the couple said in a joint statement when news broke of their separation. "Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."
Since the separation, Drew has been busy working on her businesses that include a makeup brand, sunglasses and a boutique-wine collection.
She also recently appeared on Bravo's Odd Mom Out with her now ex-sister-in-law Jill Kargman.
