We're big advocates of a strict skin-care routine around here.

For the most part, cutting corners just doesn't cut it—unless, of course, you're pressed for time and you're forced to get creative. Like, for instance, when you wake up late for work on Monday morning, and don't have time to wash your face. Normally, we'd be all about arriving late to the office in favor of freshly cleansed skin—but thank goodness we stumbled upon a Korean beauty staple, Son & Pak Beauty Water, which also happens to be a best-seller at Sephora.

So what is it? It's not exactly water, but it's not as harsh as a toner either. The main ingredients are willow bark and papaya extract, which gently exfoliate skin as well as a traditional cleanser. "We invented this to use on set at shoots. Celebs would arrive with light makeup on and this does it all—removes makeup and cleanses skin without using any tap water," shared the founders. Hey, California is in a drought, after all.

We've tried it and we can say it works in a pinch. If you're on-the-go, quickly swipe it on with a cotton pad in the morning before makeup, throw it in your gym bag to remove the day's makeup before a sweat session, freshen up with it after you go for a run and, really, any time you just need a refresh.
