Disney Channel/Ron TomWedding bells are ringing on Girl Meets World!
It's time for Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) to tie the knot, and E! News has some exclusive photos from the ceremony. In the Friday, Aug. 12 episode, "Girl Meets I Do," Shawn and Katy (Cheryl Texiera) will become husband and wife—and naturally their friends and family will be there to share the special day with them.
After a bumpy off-and-on relationship, Shawn enlisted the help of BFF Cory (Ben Savage) to propose to Katy in a heartfelt moment where he committed to spending the rest of his life with Katy and her daughter, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). In "Girl Meets I Do," Maya will have some concerns about her mom's upcoming wedding, but as you can see from the photos it looks like things will turn out okay. Take a look at who's performing the ceremony and try not to get misty eyed. (Spoiler: It's Mr. Feeny. Feee-hee-hee-heeeeny.)
The episode premieres on SVOD on Friday, Aug. 4, and will air the following week on the Disney Channel.
Girl Meets World is staging the ultimate Boy Meets World reunion in the third season finale when just about all of your favorites—including both Morgans—return. Lily Nicksay (Morgan, seasons one and two), Lindsay Ridgeway (Morgan, seasons three-seven), William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), Anthony Tyler Quinn (Mr. Turner), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews), William Russ (Alan Matthews), Betsy Randle (Amy Matthews), Lee Norris (Minkus), Danny McNulty (Harley) and Strong will all appear in the episode.
