A photo is worth a thousand words, and this snapshot of President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama at tonight's State Dinner for Singapore's Prime Minister is certainly no exception.

POTUS couldn't help but give his leading lady, ahem, the First Lady a thumbs up as she stepped outside the White House earlier this evening in a gorgeous Brandon Maxwell gown.

The designer told WWD that creating the ivory couture was an "incredible honor" for him, adding, "She is the embodiment of the woman that inspires me to create, and a role model for women all over the world."

Maxwell also posted the above candid photo on Instagram and wrote, "It's a thumbs up for me too! Thrilled and honored to dress a woman that represents the good of this nation, and who has done so much for the young women that inhabit it. It was my honor."

Lastly, Maxwell shared, "Mrs. Obama was always, and still is, the definition of grace and intelligence to me, and I am so blessed and thankful to have had the opportunity to dress her during her time in The White House and grateful for the good people that have helped me arrive at this moment in my life."

And while tonight's photo is giving us all sorts of feels, we should note that this is nothing new for the couple. See the proof—from yet another State Dinner—below!
