As the brash star of the Bravo series Jersey Belle and the outspoken host of Facebook's daily #cawfeetawk series, you'd probably assume there's nothing you don't know about Jaime Primak Sullivan. But it turns out she's saved a lot for her new book, The Southern Education of a Jersey Girl. On sale today, the tome chronicles her bumpy-but-hilarious journey from New Jersey single gal to Alabama wife and mother—all while trying to stay true to her self.

"Jersey Belle brought the most amazing fans and friends into my life," Sullivan tells E! News. "But it was hard to share the big picture and that's really what I've been able to do with this book. I'm so excited to share all the lessons I've learned about life and love in the heart of Dixie."

Among the most surprising things we learned from the fun summer read:

1. Raised Jewish, she converted to Catholicism at age 25. In a chapter titled "The Greatest Love Story Ever Told," she explains her life-changing decision.

2. Her courtship with husband Michael almost didn't happen. "We met by chance at a café and he asked for my number," she writes. "I was seeing someone at the time so I declined. A year later I went back to that cafe and he walked in." Nine years and three kids later, Michael now says, "Look what that one drink has cost me."

3. Michael waited a whopping nine months to kiss her. "I tried everything I could to get him to make the move, but he was dead set on his timing," Jaime writes. "I didn't get it then and I don't really get it now, but it worked."

4. Jersey Belle was her idea and her baby. "I came up with the fish out of water concept, partnered with a great production company, and sold it to Bravo," she writes. "I was the creative producer and star. I am so proud of my show."

5. She still sees the Belles…well, most of them. "Scarlett, Danielle, Leighanne, Adrienne and I are all going to Vegas for our 40th birthdays. They are my lifelines," she writes. "I adore them and wouldn't want to be on this journey with anyone else."
