Bella Thorne got inked up over the weekend, and it's a bit different than the celeb tattoos we're used to.
No, she didn't tattoo a broken heart on the inside of her finger or a phrase down her hip. Rather, the former Disney star got her eyebrows filled in with ink.
The 18-year-old took to Snapchat to share the full process, including the before, after and even during.
She posted a picture before getting inked, showing her red brows without any makeup or ink. "Here I go," she captioned the pic. She later revealed the technician using microblade with tiny needles to etch strands on her brow line.
"Ok now I get more numbing," she continued, midway through the process.
While she appeared to hold it together through the pain for the majority of the session, she admitted her disdain for the coloring portion. "I think that's my least favorite part," she said.
It eventually ended up being worth it as Bella shared the final result of the process (which will last about 24 months), writing, "YASSS brows."
While we can definitely see a difference in her arches thanks to the new ink, celebrity eyebrow perfectionist Stevi Christine—who is known for styling brows like Lea Michele's—says to be careful about who you go to for the process.
"I'm not into tattoo brows unless you can find a real artist who understands the natural look of filling brows, [then] I say go for it," she explained. "But usually the color tends to change over time, which can be rather difficult in camouflaging."
