Prince George turns 3 today, so the official question is: Where did the time go?
That's right, the royal baby, 2013 edition, is 3 years old already.
Once again, parents Kate Middleton and Prince William will make sure that their son celebrates in the most appropriate fashion for the family that is the symbol for all things British—a tea party in the countryside, of course! According to People, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will host the gathering for family and friends at their Anmer Hall estate.
Moreover, the mag reports, this could be the year that George gets a puppy of his own from Mum and Dad. And we all know little George is quite the animal lover. He adores the family dog, Lupo, and shares a pet hamster named Marvin with his younger sister, Princess Charlotte.
The young royal started nursery school at the beginning of the year, and special guests for his big day might include some of his new pals from Westacre Montessori. As for the party's mystery theme—we'll leave that to Kate. She worked for the Middleton family business, Party Pieces, and knows a thing or two about planning birthday bashes.
It looks like George's celebration really began over the weekend, when the airplane enthusiast was treated to a pre-birthday surprise and met members of the Special Air Service to honor their 75th anniversary. We imagine Prince William's mini-me adored the aeronautical display and the WWII planes on display at the anniversary party.

George attended his very first royal engagement, the 2016 Royal International Air Tattoo earlier this month, and aside from a short temper tantrum, his good behavior proved that the young prince is growing up to be just as sweet and composed as his parents.
We can't wait to see what's in store for this tiny tot. Flying helicopters like his father and Uncle Harry, perhaps?
