But she couldn't help but wish boyfriend Anderson East a happy 28th birthday on Instagram! On Sunday, the 32-year-old country star Instagrammed a photo showing her giving East a sweet kiss on the lips, writing, "Happy Birthday to my favorite 'Bama' boy! @andersoneast ❤️ ��:@bfluke #candidkisses #withtheband #tourlove #rolltide #&erson #TexasBama"
This bit of online PDA is rare for Miranda, who prefers to keep most details of her personal life, well, personal.
"I really believe in leaving some mystery," she explained to Entertainment Weekly. "I don't need to know what everybody's doing all the time—especially with heroes of mine."
The singer admitted she was " "horrible at all of [social media]," saying, "To think of something clever or make sure you spell something right...I always have 14 people read it because I'm worried about all of it."
Well, she definitely did A-OK with the BF's B-Day post.
Things have gotten increasingly serious between Miranda and Anderson, who is also a country singer, since they made their red carpet debut as a couple in April at the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards. The pair have a "crazy connection," a source told E! News. "Whenever they are together they act like two free spirits...Miranda adores Anderson. They understand each other. Anderson has given Miranda this confidence she hasn't felt in some time. They are very supportive with each other and their careers."
And music isn't the only thing Miranda and Anderson have in common. "They are also very involved with Miranda's animals," a source told E! News. "That's a big part of her life and Anderson is a huge animal lover."
