Watch: Could a "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3" Movie Happen?

Blake Lively certainly hopes so!

The expectant star spilled on whether the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants would become a trilogy in the near future during the red carpet premiere of her new film Café Society on Wednesday.

"We would love that," Lively told E! News. "You know, we are such good friends. But to bring it back after so many years—it would have to be something that would really respect and honors the story in a way that makes it worth it to come back after so long."

She continued, adding, "It would have to be a story that has grown with our audience."

Roughly a year ago, Ugly Betty star America Ferrera also teased the future of the third film. "There's no green light, but it's definitely in the works," she told fans on the Meredith Vieira Show. "There is a script being written. They're my girls, three of my best friends to this day."

"We all had such a rich and full friendship after that [movie]," Ferrera further dished to E! News at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. "Amber is one of my best friends, as well as the other Sisterhood girls. We all have been friends for a decade now. We all went through our twenties together. All my Sisterhood girls are very close to me."

Throughout the years, these sisters really have remained as close as their onscreen characters.

In fact, less than a week ago The Shallows star took to Instagram to post a selfie with her sisterhood squad. Blake's arms are wrapped around costars Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn, with America doing the photo-taking honors (and proving to us she's got the longest selfie arm of them all).

The 29-year-old beauty spoke out about her supportive co-stars, telling us, "It's nice to see women supporting each other. You don't see that put out there as much. Women are pitted against each—more often than not. But that's the reality and we're lucky to have that friendship."

Ladies, show them how it's done!
