Sofía Vergara celebrated her 44th birthday on Sunday with an adorable citrus soiree for her close friends and family.
In addition to lemon decorations, a lemon costume, lemon vodka and a Limoncello bar, the Modern Family actress also had her own lemon-themed birthday Snapchat filter.
Vergara's look-alike niece, Claudia Vergara, and 23-year-old son, Manolo Vergara, attended the bash, along with her handsome husband of eight months, Magic Mike XXL actor Joe Manganiello.
Manolo shared some pics of himself in the lemon costume, which Sofía donned later in the evening, complete with a tiny yellow hat. We think we can all agree it takes a very special person to make a lemon costume look that good.
When she wasn't in the lemon outfit, Vergara looked stunning in a two-piece black lace ensemble that played up her signature curves.
Vergara actively shared photos of the party on Snapchat, using her special filter of course. She captioned one lemony image, "Beyoncé would be so proud."
The dinner menu included lemon-infused gourmet dishes of eggplant, lamb and octopus, and the lemon cake was topped with a gorgeous edible flower.
Although the celebration appeared perfectly planned, Vergara revealed it was actually a last-minute event.
"I thought I was not going to be in town," she admitted to Extra. "I organized something really fast last week, so it's just going to be, like, a dinner. It's not going to be that big or that crazy. It's just going to be simple, because I thought I really was going to be in New York."
It may have been a lemon-themed party, but the night was made oh so sweet by Manganiello, who shared a black-and-white wedding photo from November in honor of Vergara's birthday. He captioned the adorable picture, "¡Feliz cumpleaños para mi amor!" which translates to "Happy birthday to my love!"
Vergara's Modern Family co-stars took to social media to show her some birthday love as well.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson Instagrammed a silly photo of Vergara and himself laughing together, captioned, "Happy birthday to my wacky, beautiful friend @sofiavergara! The only person I know who likes (cake) more than I do! I hope you eat a lot of it today!"
And Ariel Winter, who plays Alex Dunphy on the hit comedy show, shared an old image of the two of them captioned, "A true throwback with this beautiful lady for her birthday!!! Happy birthday Sofia! You're such an amazing woman and I'm so grateful to know you! I love you ❤️"
Even though it was last-minute, this party looked like the perfect way to celebrate a special day. Happy birthday, Sofía!
