That sure doesn't look like Outlander

The Starz drama's 90 minute finale airs this Saturday, and it will introduce us to two exciting (and central) new characters in the Outlander universe. Of course, they're not exactly new, because we've met younger versions of both of these characters before, but the versions we'll meet tomorrow night are the versions we'll come to know very well.

Sophie Skelton plays Claire's daughter, Brianna Randall, and she's joined by Richard Rankin as Roger Wakefield in some flash-forwards that may just change your life as they unfold throughout the season two finale.

"It's so emotional," executive producer Maril Davis told us of the finale. "It's so amazing to see Claire kind of back in her time. Obviously production design did an amazing job, and it's such a satisfying finale...It's heartbreaking and emotional but so satisfying."

Caitriona Balfe also sounded off on the episode.

"I loved the writing in this," she tells E! News. "It's really great. It's a very interesting journey for Claire. Going back is very powerful and very interesting. The finale, it's a heartbreaker, but I'm really excited for people to see it, except that it means it's the last one."

As for Sam Heughan, he's most excited for fans to see one thing in particular—"the last scene." Book readers will probably know what scene he's referring to, and for those unfamiliar with the book, you just have no idea the kind of emotional roller coaster you're in for.

We don't want to spoil anything for you—not just because we can't, but also because we really don't want to—so we'll just say that the next 90 minutes of Outlander form a picture-perfect, heartbreaking, and unexpected end to the season that also sets up an exciting third season.

It feels like the Outlander movie we never knew we needed, so prepare yourselves to batten down the hatches for that full hour and a half, and probably about a half hour of recovery time afterwards. You're gonna need it.

In the meantime, check out our gallery of pictures from the supersized finale!

Outlander airs Saturday at 9 p.m. on Starz.
