Sometimes you just need to take a break from your full-time job and life as an adult in order to find out what one of your favorite Disney Channel Original Movie stars has been up to lately...

Erik von Detten, we're looking at you!

The blonde-haired, blue-eyed hunk who helped make our childhood by starring in films like Escape to Witch Mountain, The Princess Diaries and Brink! is all grown up now.

In fact, in a celebration for Disney's 100 original movies and the premiere of Adventures in Babysitting Thursday night, von Detten re-emerged on the red carpet for the first time in a while, and he looks almost the exact same as he did 20 years ago.

The 33-year-old attended the event with his towheaded niece and nephew, smiling from ear-to-ear. (We'd guess they probably think their uncle is just as cool as we did growing up).

Von Detten looked handsome in a blue button-down that showed off his eyes, completing the look with a black blazer and slacks. Other than having two children on his arms and some scruff, the only thing that looks different about the child actor is his slicked-back hair, which he used to rock in handsomely messy way, down in front of his face.

Other than hitting the red carpet every now and again for Disney, Von Detten has remained relatively low-key since his days on Disney.

It makes sense: he started in the industry at just 10-years-old, acting on Days of Our Lives, for which he filmed 55 episodes. Aside from starring in a bunch of Disney movies and shows, he also did tons of voice over work. From Sid in Toy Story to Tarzan to an episode for Family Guy, he found some solid success in that realm. However, his last voice over was in 2010, as Sid in Toy Story 3.
