For a celebrity who makes pregnancy look like a cakewalk, Blake Lively is a bit green with envy over this picture perfect mom.
During a late-night interview with Seth Meyers Wednesday night, the glowing actress looked stunning in a colorful dress and cascading mermaid hair. In fact, since she began her press tour for her newest film The Shallows opening Friday, Lively has exceeded any and all fashion expectations with multi-thousand dollar ensembles befitting of a Vogue pictorial. Simply, she has looked virtually perfect while expecting her second child and we are all jealous.
However, even the lady who seems to have it all can get a jealous of another seemingly perfect mommy. The woman in question is Instagram trendsetter Kristen Mittler, also known as "OldJoy" on social media.
"She just made having a baby look lovely. Everything is white and she always has a fresh blueberry pie that's steaming and scones and clotted cream and she's reading The Old Man and the Sea and her little boy is rolly with bonnets," Lively gushed.
"It's amazing and I thought this is lovely and her toddler is giving her reflexology massage. What?!" she continued.
"My kid is like playing with like explosive devices," she said of her toddler, James. "She already knows how to dry wall."
Tensions are high between Lively and her Instagram account these days.
"I went from loving her to wanting to kidnap her so that she won't post anymore torture for me," she joked.
While Blake may be feeling a bit inadequate compared to the glossy Instagram account, Lively still has our vote for most modish mommy.
In the last three days alone, the actress has sported custom Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, feathered and sequined Michael Kors and a full-on Jenny Packham gown all together worth an estimated thousands upon thousands of dollars.
Clotted cream versus couture? We'll take both.
