Prince William and Kate Middleton had a royal date night on Wednesday, taking a break from their home life to enjoy an extravagant evening at Houghton Hall for a gala dinner.
The couple has been living at their Anmer Hall home with their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, where Kate has been taking charge of most of the cooking.
In fact, she admitted her husband was looking forward to a meal out. "William has to put up with my cooking most of the time," Kate, 34, told the five Michelin-starred chefs at the event, according to The Express.
William added, joking, "It's the reason I'm so skinny!"
But we're sure it wasn't just the food Prince William was looking forward to. The evening was probably a nice break from the kiddos for a few hours and a good time for the lovebirds to enjoy one another's company. Not to mention, Kate was a total sight to see!
The Duchess re-wore her gorgeous, metallic sequin Jenny Packham dress, looking stunning as ever. She first donned the ensemble at the ARK 10th Anniversary Gala dinner on June 9, 2011.
However, this time around Kate made the outfit look totally different. Though she donned a similar nude clutch with matching peep-toe heels in 2011, this time around she added some extra bling. Not only did she pin her hair up in a sweeping, low chignon that revealed a pair of dangling diamond earrings, but she also added a chunky silver bangle.
