Watch: Will "Pretty Little Liars" End With a Spinoff or Movie?

Could Pretty Little Liars just go on forever?

That doesn't seem out of the question, according to what the cast (and creator Marlene King) said when E! News' Carissa Loethen visited the set of the Freeform drama.

While they're all absolutely on board for ending the show with a movie, some of the cast members also have some particularly enticing ideas for how they could be the star of their own spin-off. Troian Bellisario sounded particularly excited.

"My god, it would be a blast!" she tells E! News in the video above of the idea. "We would shoot in Italy and London...She'd be traveling constantly. She'd be time traveling to the past, and it's an amazing show....I just described, like, Outlander...The Spencer show, it's a mixture of Girls and Outlander."

Girls and Outlander?! Hello, new favorite show!

We're also fans of Shay Mitchell's idea, which is basically Emily as the star of a lesbian Bachelorette

While a spin-off with Tyler Blackburn's character, Caleb, was already attempted (RIP Ravenswood), there's still plenty of the Pretty Little Liars universe to show off in a potential spin-off, even if we have to go a little backwards.

"I think there's so many areas of Aria that haven't been explored. She went away to Iceland before the show even started, so like, why was she there?" says Lucy Hale. "I love Aria, she's become a huge part of me, so I keep an open mind."

According to Marlene, anything could happen.

"I'm open to any version of keeping these characters alive in our world," she says.

Watch: "Pretty Little Liars" Returning for Season 8?

As for when the show will actually end, that's still the big question.

All we know for sure is that season seven is the end of Pretty Little Liars "as we know it," and that makes about as much sense to the cast as it does to us.

"That's kind of what I keep hearing too, that this is the end of PLL as we know it, and I'm like, what does that mean?" Blackburn tells us. "I'm not sure what that means, so therefore I'm intrigued. You would think that we have all this inside scoop, and I don't know anything, unfortunately."

"It's definitely going to be the last season as the fans know it," Bellisario says. "I think that most of the major storylines are going to be wrapping up, and that's what's really exciting because I think fans are finally going to get answers that they want."

"It could be the last season, it could not be," Ashley Benson says. "There's always room for more."
