Katy Perry, Taylor Swift

We're picking up a scent of "Bad Blood," but this time it's coming out of a perfume bottle.

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift's rumored feud, which began when the "Style" songstress claimed that an unnamed pop star (believed to be Perry) stole dancers from her tour, might have reached a new level thanks to Katy's new perfume. Called Mad Love, the new perfume has people believing that it's a direct reference to T. Swift's "Bad Blood" because of the same wording.

"You know it used to be mad love," Taylor sang in the song also rumored to be about her ongoing feud with the "Roar" singer.

Mad Love is meant to be a spinoff of Katy's 2015 scent, Mad Potion, so it's entirely possible that it's just a coincidence. Taylor, 26, opened up about the feud to Rolling Stone in 2014 when she called out an anonymous artist for trying to sabotage her and her tour.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'" she recalled to Rolling Stone. Then last year, the other star apparently crossed a line, according to T. Swift. "She did something so horrible, I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy!"

Since then, both pop stars have gone back and forth naysaying each other to the media. "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..." Perry cryptically tweeted.

More than a year later, Taylor opened up to GQ about her megahit song and claimed people would have assumed it was about a guy if she didn't steer her fans into believing it was about someone else. "I never said anything that would point a finger in the specific direction of one specific person, and I can sleep at night knowing that," she told the magazine. "I knew the song would be assigned to a person, and the easiest mark was someone who I didn't want to be labeled with this song. It was not a song about heartbreak. It was about the loss of friendship."

The magazine pointed out that no one ever speculated if "Bad Blood" was written about a guy. "But they would have," Taylor insisted. "So I don't necessarily care who people think it's about. I just needed to divert them away from the easiest target."
