Gavin Rossdale has jetted off to Hawaii with his kids, E! News has learned. The father-of-four took his three sons, Zuma, Apollo and Kingston, whom he shares with ex Gwen Stefani, on the tropical trip in order to get in some bonding time.
"Gavin took the boys to Hawaii for Father's Day," a source shares with us. "They left a few days ago and will be back later this week."
As for why the trip, the source adds that the Bush singer wanted to get "some good quality time" with his sons before hitting the road with Gwen. Because Gwen's tour will take her all over the place for a long period of time, Gavin wasn't sure when they'd be able to block out as much time together. "The kids are excited," the source adds.
While the kids are way, the adults will play. Gwen had a busy weekend celebrating boyfriend Blake Shelton's 40th birthday. The No Doubt songstress, who has been dating the country crooner for at least seven months, joined Blake as he and his band headed to the Country Jam 2016 festival in Grand Junction, Colorado, where Blake performed as a headliner. The 46-year-old pop singer also joined him onstage to perform their duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."
"This is fun!" Shelton told the Country Jam crowd, according to Taste of Country. "Y'all have been so freakin' nice to me on my 40th birthday and I guess if I had one birthday wish for me personally...I wish I could rock. I wish I was one of those type of artists that could rock but I can't."
"For my birthday I wish I could hear an artist who could rock," he said. "That's my birthday wish."
Stefani returned to the stage and performed No Doubt's 2001 song "Hella Good," the outlet reported, adding that Shelton followed with an encore—and a kiss for her.
