Looks like Kate Middleton's got some new feathers in her cap—literally.

The 34-year-old Duchess of Cambridge has sported countless unique headpieces during her time in the royal family, and today was no exception. At an event known for its extravagant headpieces, the Duchess made her debut in a woven gold Jane Taylor fascinator embellished with feathers and a cream rose at the Royal Ascot, an annual horse race.

Kate is so well known for her hats that people placed bets on her selection for the Royal Ascot. In fact, it appears that bookkeepers at William Hill bet on both Kate and Queen Elizabeth's choice of headwear for the evening.

Odds were 2/1 that the Duchess would choose something cream or beige colored, which was spot on. But the betting site missed the mark on the Queen, who people thought might wear blue. Instead, she continued her streak of colorful matching ensembles with a light pink hat and coat combination.

Kate has been seriously upping her fascinator game recently. This week alone she has donned a number of extraordinary headpieces worth mentioning.

On Tuesday, Kate managed to capture the hearts of cinnamon roll lovers everywhere in a swirly cream Lock & Co. fascinator that matched her coat at a Garden Party in Ireland.

And she was all business at the Order of the Garter service on Monday, where her striking scarlet Lock & Co. headpiece was the perfect topper for an all-red ensemble.

The Royal Ascot is a big day for fashion, and the Duchess proved once again that she deserves her reputation as a fashion icon.

Kate opted for an elegant, understated look in a long-sleeved cream lace dress from Dolce and Gabbana. Known for her recycling ways, the Duchess also wore the dress just last month at the Royal Windsor Horse Race, but it was covered by a gorgeous red coat—so we'll let the repeat slide.

Today though, the woven fascinator proved to be the perfect accessory for that stunning dress.

All we can say is: hats off to you, Kate!
