After so many red carpet fittings, putting on a cap and gown is going to be a piece of cake for Ariel Winter.

The 18-year-old Modern Family star was all set to graduate today from Campbell Hall, a private Episcopal high school in Studio City, Calif., which held its Baccalaureate mass on Sunday.

Sporting a new ruby red hairdo, Winter shared a photo of herself and a friend in a heartfelt embrace at the celebration, captioning the photo, "From Baccalaureate to Graduation tomorrow and then UCLA bound #classof2020." The fashion-forward actress sported a body-hugging lace white gown that had a similar overall silhouette as her prom dress.

She also happily shared her graduation day with her dog's big 0-1, wishing the adorable Rocco a happy first birthday via Instagram on Monday as well.

After applying to 15 colleges, Winter decided to attend the University of California, Los Angeles, in the fall of 2016. UCLA has the largest applicant pool of any university in the country, with Ariel being 1 of 119,000 applicants who vied for a spot in the college's class of 2020.

The teen told E! News last year that she plans to study business and law, saying, "I've always been interested in law and it's something that I'd love to do and go to school for."

When asked whether pursuing higher education meant she would quit her job for good, she remarked, "No, I'd love to continue acting. But it's definitely important to go and do something else as well." Winter reasoned, "You never know if something is not going to work out—if one day acting is like, 'No, we don't really like you anymore.'"

Got to appreciate a driven young lady with a plan!

The future Bruin also showed solidarity with her school earlier this month on a sadder occasion, when she took to Twitter to pay her respects after a shooting on campus, in which a professor was killed by an ex-student in a murder-suicide. "My thoughts & prayers are with @UCLA & all the students & families affected by today," she wrote.

Congratulations to Ariel Winter on this milestone accomplishment in her life, and here's to all the memories she'll soon be making as a college freshman.
