If you thought the Playboy Mansion was just your ordinary mansion, think again.

In case you missed the big news, E! News confirmed this week that Hugh Hefner's famous property is about to get a brand-new owner. And as it turns out, the lucky buyer was a neighbor who will reportedly pay more than $100 million for the 200,000 square-foot residence.

While the space could very well be considered a landmark thanks to its pop culture history and A-list parties, some may be curious to find out what exactly is inside those doors. Luckily, our cameras recently got an inside glimpse into the property.

The home described as an "ultra-private retreat" serves as the ultimate setting for large-scale entertaining.

Guests can enjoy the great outdoors where you may just find flamingos and birds roaming the property. Fortunately, they won't bother you when you're relaxing in the spacious pool that includes hot tubs and waterfalls.

If the weather isn't cooperating—like that actually happens in Los Angeles—residents can stay indoors where a fitness center and indoor movie theater are included. And for those feeling a bit competitive, there's a game room filled with a pool table and Playboy themed pinball machines.

According to the original property listing, a catering kitchen, wine cellar, tennis court and a four-bedroom guest house are also included in the property. And yes, the guest house is in addition to the 29 rooms already available.

As for who will call this space home next, look no further than Daren Metropoulos. The lucky buyer is a principal at the private equity firm Metropoulos & Co., which just so happens to own Twinkies-maker Hostess Brand.

"The heritage of this property transcends its celebrity, and to have the opportunity to serve as its steward would be a true privilege," he recently shared with The Wall Street Journal.

Now if only we knew which part of the house he was going to explore first.
